Farewell to Yoshi Sama - The End of an Era
Yoshi Sama, farewell to you as the owner

A Journey of 20 Months
20 months or longer since Atlantis started, truly has been a long journey with lots of ups and downs and memories. Yoshi, The Owner, the person behind the success of a chatroom which dominated for a long time. But now, the person has stepped down from the position.
The Legacy of Leadership
From building the moderator team and customizing the chatroom with his skills to creating impressive banners, always listening to moderators, addressing concerns about the chatroom, and more, Yoshi has been deeply involved since the beginning. While he may not have spoken much in general, he consistently played a significant role in the chat, speaking most passionately about its matters.
During times of complaints or conflicts, rather than avoiding responsibility, he continued to manage the chatroom as owner, refusing to give up. He remained in his position and contributed tirelessly.
Respect and Recognition
I've been here for a long time, I've seen a lot, and so I respect Yoshi a lot for whatever I've seen him doing for the chatroom.
Event Planning
Providing creative event ideas and organizing community activities
Technical Features
Background customization, games, themes, and color schemes
Hall of Fame
Creating recognition systems based on community demand
Discord Management
Single-handedly managing Discord settings and moderation
Dedication Through Changes
Even in the past few months, or actually, since the second half of last year, Yoshi wasn't very active anymore like he was back in the first few MCs. Even then, whenever he would show up, the first thing he would show is concern for the chatroom. As the owner, he gave a reasonable amount of priority to his chat.
I don't know much about him personally; he didn't let his emotions let out and ruin his chatroom with mood swings or dictatorship. He maintained his cool. Once again, I respect Yoshi, The Owner, for being a good example.
The Unexpected Transition
When he tags me day before yesterday on Discord and passes on the role to me, I was confused. I had no idea what's going on. Yoshi? Not Owner? What is he then? Monkey? Yoshi is the face of Atlantis and him not being in this position was a big disbelief. Atlantis belongs to him, so I was legit confused.
Even so, I accepted the position, and I'll try to set a good example as well. It was really sudden for me, no discussion nothing. I open Discord and hear I'm the new owner, I open Disqus and I see I've received permissions I was not familiar with.
Looking Forward
The way Disqus had been dying, I can't guarantee I'll be able to grow Atlantis again, but I'll try my best to continue the legacy the previous owner, Yoshi, has left with.
